Last trip of 2020

2020 has been a year that has change many things in world, and most important that has been affected is how we travel, My first trip of 2020 was on 5 th Jan returning to Mumbai by 14707, and from March Lockdown came into enforce and trains resume from June but since then didn’t got chance to travel nor wanted to take the risk, but by December mid the number started to fall and everything started getting back to “ New Normal “ ( wearing mask , maintain social distancing , Using hand sanitizer , etc. ). Himanshu Mukherjee decided to have a trip before 2020 ends. Planning was under way where should we go, which route to be selected, are trains crowded etc. all things were taken into consideration. After few days of viewing bookings of all the trains, Decided to take Deccan queen from Csmt to lnl and in return Indrayani back to Mumbai, although the turnaround time at lnl was hardly less than 7 mins still decided to take the risk of travelling in both the trains.   And in mean time a circ

I am Back with one more trip report , This time its within Mumbai only , Its The mumbai Monorail  It was commissioned in February 2014,  Further, a fire in an empty monorail coach in November, 2017 had led to the network being shut till August 2018 And on 3rd march the entire route ( Phase :- 2 )  was Inaugurated by  Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis .   I Udit Mehta with other Railfan   ( Himanshu , Sahil , saurabh , Sarthak , Shivam , Sandeep , Aryan , Harsh ) decided to travel in Monorail phase :- 2 with was just inaugurated By CM after many deadlines . We reached Sant Gadge Maharaj Chowk by 11:40, it was crowded by people who were eagerly waiting to travel in phase:-2, we all took token up to Chembur which cost us 40₹ per person!   We boarded 12:00 service from Sant Gadge Maharaj Chowk. From:-CCG to GMN The last part of the trip, after completing the kharkopar ride, we reached nerul waiting for your csmt local.   We bid farewell to Sameer who had come to accompany us from Panvel to kharkopar. Our csmt bound local came nerul at 21:35; we all were almost tired and hungry , travelling nonstop almost covering each part of the mumbai. we removed snacks from our bags and started eating , I was very much tired so I doze off for some while , while others were busy in their social media and himanshu busy in noting down each stuff. Train:-14 -99619 Nerul-Kharkopar Slow. Rake:-1202-1204-1205-1203. From:-SWDV to KARP. Train:-15-99620 Kharkopar-Nerul Slow. Rake:-1203-1205-1204-1202. From:-KARP to NEU. After getting off from kasara – csmt local. We rushed towards the pf:-9, as we had very less time to change the platform. We reached Thane at 19:10. We had 7 mins to change the platform, fill our water bottles. Take some snacks from the platform.   Our Panvel bound emu standing at thane pf: 9, we reach our coach in time filling our water bottle, taking snacks also. Departed thane at 19:14. From:-KSRA to TNA.  After Reaching kyn :- 2 , 22109 arrived at kyn pf:-4 with 37007 ajni wap7, we thought it would depart first and then Titvala bound local will come, but the scheduled of local was ahead of the ac express so we decided to board the Titvala local and capture the 22109 skipping Titvala, we boarded the train, crew change of the train happed at kyn so it took additional of 4 mins, our local departed from kalyan at 15:13, we got the seat in fc although the train was packed, just departing from kalyan , offlink Gzb wap7 30400 with GKP – ltt was crossing over to pf:-5, we crossed the kyn dls & bhel made kyn wag9 34002 was inside the shed. After getting   on-board 5333A karjat local from kopar, Rajesh was already in the coach from thane itself he was seating near   the track side window , Even Himanshu took the window seat and both started noting down all the timing , meanwhile Parth & Sahil was standing near the door to capture the crossing , I felt hungry, Removed the snacks from my bag   that I carried with me from home,   the FC coach had just 8 people, Reached Thakurli at 11:16, just after we departed from Thakurli, BRC WAP-7 30466 with 14805 Yeshvantpur-Barmer ac express crossed, , 1047/48 as badlapur fast overtook our local at Thakurli outer.   Wag9 31114 with 12188 Mumbai CSMT -  Jaba
