The Tale Of 14708 Dadar - Bikaner Ranakpur Express between Mumbai to Ahmedabad

 

Here's a short trip report from Mumbai to Ahmedabad of 14708 Dadar - Bikaner Ranakpur Express

 Reached Borivali station around 12:00 and paschim Express already standing on Platform 6 ready to depart. And in the meantime Ajmer - Dadar was entering Borivali on platform 7. By the time i changed from Platform from 1 to 6 and came to my coach number Brc wap7 30763 with Bandra - Chandigarh Express was entering Borivali station. Waiting at platform 6 for my Train 7001 as Virar Ac local went..  Brc wap7 37287 with 12932 Entered Borivali. behind it brc wap 39027 with Jaipur - bandra entered Borivali pf 8 and soon behind it Udaipur - bandra entered on pf9. As there so no irctc Tejas the mainline crowd was a bit less empty on pf7. My train arrived at Bvi at 1:10 BL wap4 22538 was in charge of it till Ahmedabad. As we settle down on our seats. Train departed at 1:15 from bvi. It was having a good run till Vasai road.  Wag12 60161 was at vasai road with a freight train. We started crawling from vasai road til virar behind the local train. After crossing the virar train picked up speed but not that long a long Tsr of 20 kmph till vaitarna station. We  were following the yellow to yellow signal from the saphale till the kelve road. We Overtook a freight that was ahead of us at kelve road and crossing with 22475 hauled by shf bgkt wdp4 20102. Reached the  palghar at 2:10 as soon as the train halted. Palghar Sm with the doctor rushed to B3 where a passenger had fallen ill. The passenger was checked and treatment was given. We departed from palghar at 2:19.

There was again a slow at Bhilad as we had to follow a Tsr of 20kmph.

Reached vapi at 3:13 the train ride was going smoothly till now. There was a block on the Up line for bridge maintenance work at Km mark 219/19 followed by a Tsr of 10 kmph

As we were entering Navsari Wag12 with bcna was entering up line loop Reached Navsari at 4:19. And still suryanagari and 22919 were behind us only. Skipped Bhestan at 4:35 ( 25 mins BT as per WTT ) bhestan is the loop line station for Ranakpur where Surya and weekly slot overtakes Ranakpur. Surat - Bandra Intercity crossed us at Bhestan outer. As we approached udhna it started to slow down and we were taken into the loops line at 4:40. after waiting for 15 mins the Main line signal turned green and 12480 was approaching. Wap4 with 12480 overtook us at udhna and soon behind it 22919 was approaching. After 3 mins of time the signal again turned green and 22919 was there. 22919 overtook us and after a total of 18 mins we departed from udhna Jn.  We entered surat at 5:05. Bsl Wap4 22831 with Surat - bhusawal Passenger was departing from Surat.  Soon after departure from surat train started to pickup speed and we approached the Tapi river bridge. crossing the Tapi river bridge entered the Brc division. And these days the Brc division is known for the Tsr. The train started to pick up speed we achieved mps but had to slow down as soon as  There was a Tsr @ GTX.  There was too much upgradation work going on the Dfc line as well as main line for the 160 kmph speed n skipped Akv at mps. and As we approached BH. BL wap4 hauled Brc - BL was loop at pf:-4 and ju - SBC was entering Bh. The Twin end with Ju - SBC entered BH. After Departure from Bharuch it was time for some great mps and also few Expected Tsr and Overtakes. We had a good run till Varediya outer. A Tsr of 20 kmph at Varediya station. followed by Tsr at Palej also. But the main was 12933 overtaking us. but This time it was something different from brc division. 12933 was running late due to some reason and we skipped Vs at 6:57. making it Ontime entry into Brc station. Due to which we were given Platform 2 direct entry. The Brc platform 2 entry was so superb. There was still no sign of 12933. We departed at Right time from Brc. Picked up good speed as we exited the Brc cabin and joined the Adi line. Skipped Anand and Nadiad with minimal delays. And now the train was running  very BT as it hasn’t utilised the slack and also the overtakes of 12933 and 12933. We Skipped Mahemdavad Kheda Road 15 mins before time. As we Approached Kanij we were looped. 12933 was still at nadiad we were running 24 mins BT as per WTT in Brc div. Both 12933 and 12931 Overtook us at Kanji station. Even after waiting for 20 mins into loop. We were still running Before time. Crossed Vatva at 21:09 ( 13 mins Before time ). Loksakti towards Mumbai crossed us at Vatva Outer. As we entered The Kankaria Yard. Double Decker was already waiting at the outer for signal on 3rd line. We almost got parallel entry with double decker into Ahmedabad station. Entered Ahmedabad at 21:25 ( 15 mins Before time ) . Bgkt wdp4d was already waiting at Adi to take the charge of the train from Ahmedabad to Bikaner. This was the trip in Ranakpur Express where Lc of the train happened in Adi. I had continued my trip till Bikaner.
